Trishya Screwvala graduated with a Master’s degree from USC’s Peter Stark Producing Program where she received the Robert S. Fergueson Marketing Award. Back in Mumbai, she produced the documentary BOLLYWOOD: THE GREATEST LOVE STORY EVER TOLD with Academy Award Nominated Shekhar Kapur that screened at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival. Currently, she is developing feature film MOUSE with Sundance Fellow Geeta Patel. Trishya is also an active trustee of SWADES Foundation that is committed to rural empowerment through interventions in water, health, agriculture, livelihood and education and is active in 117 villages across Maharashtra. She is also founder of Raindancer, a not-for-profit organization that aims to inspire urban Indian youth to affect change.
